One place you won’t find many Chicagoans strolling or lingering is under the el tracks. But the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce wants to change that below a stretch of the Brown Line between the Paulina and Southport stops where it hopes to install a pedestrian-friendly walkway to activate an unused space and better connect the neighborhood. There was a meeting Tuesday night where the public reacted to designs and plans for what’s being dubbed the “Low-Line” for the first time.
