Chicago police and city leaders gathered to remember city police officers killed in the line of duty Tuesday afternoon. Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson spoke of the “obligation” to remember the sacrifice made by more than 500 officers in Chicago over the years. The event took place at Chicago’s Police Union headquarters in the West Loop. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel was also in attendance.
