On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that Ugandan police had disabled the Daily Monitor’s printing press after forcibly entering its premises. Police were apparently looking for evidence against army General David Sejusa. The general had raised questions about the president’s alleged plan to have his son succeed him in office.
