President Obama and Gov. Quinn pushed for a minimum wage bump in their State of the Union and State of the State addresses. The push for more money has been a hot button issue for political candidates, and workers who say the current wage isn’t livable in today’s economy. A town in Washington state responded to workers’ calls for an increase and now workers in SeaTac have a $15 minimum wage.
