President Obama’s human rights scorecard

President Obama came into office, vowing to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but seven years after his inauguration, the prison remains open. Conflicts in the Middle East have complicated Mr. Obama’s policy presence abroad. Some criticize the President for supporting regimes that deny their citizens basic human rights.
