Pritzker Signs Chicago Elected School Board Bill Over Mayor’s Objections

Chicago will have a 21-person elected school board by 2025 and phase in elections for those seats.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker on Friday signed a bill to establish school board elections in Chicago for the first time in the city’s history. Reset checks in with WBEZ’s education desk for the details.
