Legendary film critic Roger Ebert died on Thursday at age 70. As part of our remembrance, host Niala Boodhoo and Milos Stehlik, WBEZ film critic and director of Facets Multimedia, spoke with Kartemquin films founder Gordon Quinn. Quinn was the producer of the documentary “Hoop Dreams,” a film Ebert championed, and is working on a biographical film about the critic. “He put us on the map, he and Gene, with Hoop Dreams,” said Quinn.
