By Tony SarabiaThere are many hidden musical gems in Chicago and we’ve uncovered one of them for you: Radio Free Honduras. The band is built around the guitar and vocal talents of Honduran Charlie Baran. He was once a member of the legendary Honduran punta band Banda Blanca.
We’ll also hear a song from Cameroon that’s considered one of the first disco tunes here in the U.S. Plus, a dreamy cover of a Kraftwerk classic, afrobeat master Tony Allen and psychedelic Thai music.
