Radio rivalry: Talk shows make a wager on Cubs/Cards series

The Cubs and the Cardinals are one of the great rivalries in sports...although it hasn’t been much of a rivalry lately. The Cards have 11 World Series championships, and they’ve been in the playoffs 12 out of the last 16 seasons. The Cubs...well...Theo Epstein has been trying to build a powerful, self-sustaining franchise over the last four years, and his young players are knocking on the Cardinals’ “door of dominance.” On Friday, Chicago Public Radio made a friendly wager with St. Louis Public Radio over who would win this series.
