ByA rash of recent cyber breaches has major implications for the country’s national security. A security firm called RSA was recently hacked, which led to the hacking of two big firms, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. In a separate attack, the Gmail accounts of several US government officials were hacked, an effthat was traced back to China’s military.
Now the U.S. is taking measures to combat cyber crimes. In May, the president issued an international strategy for cyber space. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the Pentagon’s official cyber strategy, due out next month, states that cyber war may be a pretext for military intervention.
