Aretha Franklin continues to make headlines over a documentary about her called Amazing Grace. She had it pulled recently from Colorado’s Telluride Film Festival…now organizers of the Toronto film Festival say they’ve been told not to screen the film and folks at the Chicago International Film Festival have shelved its planned screening. Franklin sang Amazing Grace in 1972 at New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in L.A. The performance of the song cracked the top ten and won the 1972 Grammy for Best Soul Gospel Performance.
