Prep for Prep, a nonprofit education program in New York City, helps students of color attend private schools but some argue that it fails to mitigate segregation in the city’s public schools. We reexamine these types of programs with The New Yorker’s Vinson Cunningham. Also, a new book tells the story of Massachusetts v.
