The Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America is an interfaith network of individuals and communities that works to advance peace, justice, and human rights in this hemisphere. They provide opportunities to connect with people who work on social justice issues in the U.S. and in Latin America. CRLN is also a strong advocate on Latin American issues in Washington. The organization was founded 25 years ago by Gary Cozette. He started the group after visiting El Salvador and witnessing the devastating effect the war was having on civilians. Gary just retired from The Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America after 25 years of advocacy. He recently visited El Salvador again in March for the 35th anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero. Cozette joins us to reflect on his 25 years with CRLN.
