Europe’s refugee crisis is front and center on the island of Kos. The Greek island has been overwhelmed by migrants in recent months. It’s estimated that about 124,000 people have come by sea to the Greek islands this year, many fleeing the war in Syria. Kos has found itself unprepared for the large numbers and people have been camping out on the beaches and on the streets. Tensions are high on the island which is normally a popular tourist destination. We’ll talk with AP correspondent Nicholas Paphitis, who has been reporting on the conditions in Kos.
