Ahmad Chalabi, the Iraqi political leader who helped make the case for the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, died yesterday at his home in Baghdad. He’s remembered for his role in supplying intelligence, later deemed false, that indicated Saddam Hussein’s arsenal included weapons of mass destruction.
