The National Audubon Society just completed what it calls a “major climate change report” that projects the long-term effects of global warming on North America’s bird populations. The research is based on over a half-century of data. One startling estimation notes that over half of North American bird species are at risk of extinction over the next 70 years. We’ll talk about more of the findings in the report, Birds and Climate Change, with Gary Langham, vice president and chief scientist at the National Audubon Society.
