The new year brings a new program you’ll be hearing on WBEZ. It’s called Reveal. Reveal is a Peabody Award-winning investigative journalism program for public radio from The Center for Investigative Reporting and PRX. It airs Sunday afternoons at 1pm and it just kicked off. The first episode explores discrimination in temporary staffing nationwide. WBEZ’s Chip Mitchell reported one of the pieces in that episode. He tells the story of a Chicago labor organizer who tries to get African-Americans and Latinos to work together to eliminate discrimination against black temp workers.
