On Tuesday, a three judge panel of the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals will take up the state’s law that bans same sex marriage in Indiana. A federal judge in June ruled a law that bans same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. Hundreds of same-sex couples married as a result. But an appeal by the state led to a stay, putting a stop from more couples getting married. WBEZ’s Michael Puente has followed the case and he joins us from the Dirksen Federal Building.
