God, sex and death are three subjects that have been explored, debated, legislated and fought over for ages. Every third Friday of the month Chicago musician Danny Black invites storytellers, fellow musicians, clergy and the occasional sex worker to muse on the connections and sometimes disconnections between the three subject at the Hideout for the God, Sex and Death Variety Hour. Black and co-producer Angela Vela stop by to talk about the origins of the show and share some of the music that inspires Black.
