We’ll hear the music and will talk with singer, social justice activist and feminist, Karla Lara. She’s been in the politics and social movements of her native Honduras since the 1980s. Lara and her band were in Chicago as part of a U.S. tour called, “Un Pueblo Que No Calla: Voices from the Resistance Movement in Honduras”. Lara’s tour was sponsored by the Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America. NOTE: We learned recently of the untimely passing of band Member Dany Morales on 12/23/14. Worldview sends its deepest condolences to his family and bandmates. PHOTO: (Courtesy of Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America)
