Chicago’s folk music ensemble group has made it a mission to educate and preserve Mexican folk and traditional music and dance. In the spirit of keeping the tradition of Mexican Son alive, Sones de Mexico has created many tunes featuring the regional styles of huapango, gustos, chilenas and son jarocho. The group joins us as they celebrate 20 years of music making.
