Robert Altman’s satirical masterpiece Nashville is celebrating its 40th anniversary. So we’re packing our bags to seek our fortune in Music City.

On Wednesday, November 11, join Sound Opinions hosts Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot at the Music Box Theatre as they host a 40th anniversary screening of Nashville, the 1975 film that critic Pauline Kael called “the funniest epic vision of America ever to reach the screen.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the chat & screening will start at 7:30. Tickets are $12 in advance. Remaining tickets will be sold for $15 cash at the door. WBEZ members get $1 off. All proceeds go to benefit Sound Opinions and Chicago Public Media. Please note this movie is Rated R.

Advance tickets will be available at the door under the purchaser’s name. Tickets will not be mailed.
