Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made the announcement of a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

The move comes after reports that Trump pressured the president of Ukraine to open a corruption investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden, one of the frontrunners vying for the Democratic nomination in 2020.

If the inquiry leads to a vote, President Trump would become just the fourth president in American history to face impeachment.
