The AIDS Foundation of Chicago has a project focused on improving the lives of LGBTQ people. It’s called Pride Action Tank. Among other things, the group is thinking about how gay people navigate aging. One of the people working on the project is 70-year-old Donald Bell. In October, he sat down at the StoryCorps booth in Chicago to talk with 23-year-old Jack Rothmund, whom he met through Pride Action Tank.

This interview was facilitated by StoryCorps Chicago’s Rocio Santos.
