In March of this year, Shanna Sigers and her husband Otis were diagnosed with coronavirus. Otis died in April. He would have turned 57 this month. Two days after his birthday, Shanna Sigers sat down for a StoryCorps Chicago interview. Her brother, Dr. Antonio Johnson, asked her about how her husband’s death has changed her.

This interview was facilitated by StoryCorps Chicago’s Mary Bess Ser.
