Nick Larson and Shalyn Dixon are students in the same english class at Oak Park and River Forest High School, where they got a big assignment. Students had to interview each other and perform a two-minute monologue using only the other person’s words. The goal was to answer a big question: How did I get to be the person who I am?

Larson and Dixon interviewed each other at the StoryCorps booth at the Chicago Cultural Center.
