Alexis and Tony met at Seeds of Peace, a camp that focuses on getting teenagers from different backgrounds in dialogue with each other. Recently, the two friends, who are from different parts of Chicago, spoke with each other at the StoryCorps booth in the Chicago Cultural Center. They talked about what they wish adults understood about teenagers’ lives.

This interview was recorded through a partnership between Seeds of Peace and StoryCorps Chicago.
