Karen D’Angelo is a social worker in Chicago. Back in November, her younger sister, Jill D’Angelo Powers, came to visit from Connecticut, where she lives with her husband and their two children. At the StoryCorps booth in the Cultural Center, the D’Angelo sisters talked about being little girls, and caring for a mother with a mental illness. Karen asked Jill about difficult moments in their childhood as well as the happier times.
