On Thursday afternoon, a group of Orr High School students ventured onto Pulaski Road in West Garfield Park where they held a peace march and did a dance performance.

The activity was the culmination of a dance class held at Orr as part of a seminar class.

Students explained that they wanted to take the opportunity to encourage people in the community to turn away from violence. Just this year, two students from the school were killed.
