The number of Chicago Public School students enrolling in four-year universities has increased from 50 percent a decade ago to about 63 percent. But a new study shows that while a lot of students enroll in four year universities, as many as a quarter wind up transferring back to community colleges.

The study was done by the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research.
