Both the United States and Britain have ordered their non emergency staff to leave Yemen immediately. The U.S. has also told Americans in Yemen they should evacuate the country. The order follows a global terror alert that was issued last week by the United States. The U.S. closed embassies throughout the Middle East and north Africa after it intercepted communications which led them to believe there were “increased security concerns,” and threat of a potential terrorist attack.
