We have the latest on the ongoing maneuvering over Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s proposed 2016 city budget: Emanuel’s lining up votes. Alderman are doing their last-minute lobbying for tweaks. And Chicagoans are waiting to see where the cards will fall and what it means for them. The final version of the budget goes to a vote next week.
