The day after Paris was targeted by a series of deadly terror attacks, Marine Le Pen, the leader of the country’s far-right National Front party, called for ‘urgent action.” She said France needed to “ ban Islamist organizations, close radical mosques and expel foreigners.” Recent polls, even before the terror attacks, suggest that her party is likely to win upcoming regional elections in December. France has struggled to integrate its immigrants and has seen a shift to the right, following the terror attacks earlier this year.
