The latest jobs report shows slight rise in unemployment

The August 2022 jobs report shows an unemployment rate of 3.7%, higher than the estimated 3.5%.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the August Jobs Report Friday morning. The report shows that though employers hired over 300,000 new workers, unemployment rose slightly to 3.7% as more people look for jobs.
