The firm at the center of the Panama Papers scandal, Mossack Fonseca, is just one of many organizations and firms that exist to move money and create tax shelters for the world’s wealthy. 

We take a look at the true size and impact of the elite’s hidden economy and look at the role that governments play in regulating this economy with Jeffrey Winters, professor of political science at Northwestern University and author of Oligarchy, which compares some of history’s most egregious oligarchies. He is also the founder and director of the Equality Development and Globalization Studies program at Northwestern.
