The largely positive report (Asian-Americans are better educated, have higher incomes, feel closer to their families) was rejected by Asian-American groups, from the National Council of Asian Pacific Americans to the Japanese American Citizens League. Ami Gandhi of the South Asian American Policy & Research Institute joined Vocalo’s morning show hosts Brian Babylon and Molly Adams, to discuss her organization’s qualms with the study and how positive trends can negatively impact public perception of the diverse Asian-American community.
