There’s almost no precedent for the way Donald Trump has run his campaign for president. Virtually every decision and every word has been…unorthodox. That is, until he chose Indiana Governor Mike Pence to be his running mate.

Pence has political experience, knows Washington from his years as a congressman, and appeals to religious conservatives that have been wary of Trump’s stands on social issues.
