The Third Coast International Audio Festival presents its finalists for this year’s ShortDocs challenge. Nearly 250 audio producers – from newbies to professionals – took on the challenge of creating a 2-3 minute audio documentary tied to the food-related theme of “appetite.” Third Coast’s “Master (audio) Chef” Julie Shapiro joins us to talk about the contest, and offers up some bite-sized samplings from the eight finalists in this year’s competition.
