Fighting keeps ramping up in eastern Ukraine. The United Nations’ refugee agency says the conflict has killed more than 5-thousand people and displaced nearly 1 million inside the country. Local authorities are evacuating people, but many are still trapped in basements and buildings by the fighting. The White House is considering whether to send arms. The Chicago region’s home to a big Ukrainian population. We have two members of the community here today to tell us what people think of the conflict, and how they’re affected.
