The women who painted themselves against all odds

Two certified nerds join the panel to unpack the week that was. Omar Holman and William Evans, the duo behind the website and new book titled Black Nerd Problems, share their hot takes on Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix special, LEGOs, and inflation.

Then we look back at our art history textbooks and highlight the underappreciated power of women’s self portraits with art critic Jennifer Higgie. Her new book is The Mirror and the Palette.

And last but not least, we talk to author and former Schitt’s Creek writer Zoe Whittall about how aspects of her life inspired her new book The Spectacular. She tells us why it was important to her to depict queer femme love stories.
