Every other year, radio producers, media makers, journalists, storytellers and more gather in Chicago to share ideas on how to improve their craft. It’s the Third Coast Conference, and this year, there’s a chance for non-radio people to get into the mix when This American Life’s Nancy Updike hosts a session to discuss how some of her favorite sources of vice eventually turn into stories. Updike and Third Coast International Audio Festival Executive Director Johanna Zorn preview the conference.
