Thousands March In Hong Kong For Jailed Student Activists

It has been three years since the Umbrella Movement. That was when Hong Kong’s youth occupied the streets to demand democracy from mainland China. Now, three student leaders of the movement, Joshua Wong, Nathan Law and Alex Chow, are going to jail.

Last week, a Hong Kong court sentenced them to terms ranging from six to eight months for unlawful assembly. Thousands of Hong Kong residents took to the streets again to protest the ruling.
