Although Valentines day is coming up this weekend, Feb. 14^th is also Chinese New Year. On Friday, Feb. 12, Ben Pao will host their annual Chinese Lion Dance to celebrate the year of the tiger. The evening will begin with a mini fireworks show followed by the Lion Dance. Diners can interact with the lion and order the Year of the Tiger a la carte menu which includes traditional Chinese dishes such as:

• Whole Crispy Red Snapper
• Jaoizi Dumplings
• Golden Coin Turnovers
• Long Life Noodles

Also on Friday, D.O.C. Wine Bar in Lincoln Park will offer their “Millionaire’s Flight” to showcase Shiraz and Hermitage wines which are normally only offered by the bottle. The wines to be showcased this Friday include:

• 2002 Domaine Clusel-Roch Cote Rotie (Vernay, France)

These Millionaire Flights are offered every Friday from 5 p.m. — 2 a.m. and cost $25. Reservations are not required but can be made by calling 773-883-5101.
