FalafelWhen most people think of Christmas feasts, they typically think of a whole roasted ham or duck (or even beef tenderloin).‚  But when you really think about the origins of the holiday, way back to ancient Nazareth and Jerusalem, think about what those folks were eating: most likely falafel, baba ganoush and tabouli.‚  I know it’s a stretch, but I always like eating falafel this time of year.‚  I spent some time in Dearborn, Michigan recently, home to the largest Lebanese population in the U.S.‚  If you drive along Warren Avenue, you can eat some of the best falafel in the country.‚  For more info on Middle Eastern restaurants in Dearborn, click here.
