The leadership of the Chicago Teachers Union is pushing for a one-day strike on April 1st to pressure Governor Bruce Rauner to pass a state budget. But not all its members are sold on the idea. 

As CTU delegates prepare to vote on the measure Wednesday night, Morning Shift checks in with WBEZ’s Sarah Karp about whether we could see a strike come April. We also talk to Sarah about what the Chicago Board of Education is expected to tackle in its monthly meeting Wednesday.
