The Old Town School of Folk Music has been part of Chicago for more than 50 years. So after a half century of concerts and classes, it was no surprise that they decided to expand. The new building, right across from their main location in Lincoln Square, is state of the art and has studios with sprung floors and classrooms that have been acoustically engineered to prevent sound leakage. Bau Graves, executive director of the Old Town School of Folk Music, took Eight Forty-Eight on a tour.
