This week, U.S. President Donald Trump stated he would likely move forward with raising tariffs on currently imposed Chinese goods. This statement comes ahead of a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 summit this week. The summit could have been a potential to improve U.S.-China relations but rhetoric from both sides of the aisle are showing otherwise. Joining us to discuss is Phil Levy, senior fellow on the global economy at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and Ted Fishman, an op-ed columnist with USA Today and author of China Inc and Shock of Grey.
