Savita Duomai is a physician at Shalom Delhi in India. It’s a hospital treatment unit that cares for people living with HIV in New Delhi. It’s part of the Shalom Project, which strives to “bring holistic transformation and hope to the lives of the urban poor in…India.” Dr. Duomai joins us to talk about her belief that successful treatment of HIV and others “life limiting illnesses” must include more than just medicine. She is in Chicago to participate in Wheaton College’s annual HUNGR (Human Needs and Global Resources) Symposium.
