Trump Names Chief Political Adviser Steve Bannon To National Security Council

President Donald Trump made major changes to the structure of the National Security Council over the weekend, naming his chief strategist Steve Bannon as a permanent member of the council’s Principals Committee. Experts say this is the first time a president has ever put a political adviser as a permanent member of this committee.
