Only 55 percent of Americans are aware of the term “podcasting.”
To improve that number and raise general podcast awareness, WBEZ created five promotions as part of #TryPod, a campaign informally led by NPR. The following promos, which aired in WBEZ podcasts throughout the month of March, encourage you to explain podcasts to those unfamiliar with the format.
So go ahead: Download a show for a relative, a coworker or a distant acquaintance. Then tell everyone about your favorite podcast using #TryPod.
The internet will be glad you did.
